Welcome
Reorder planning for Shopify, the Stocky replacement: suggestions that count supplier delivery times, purchase orders per supplier, receiving into Shopify stock and barcode labels.
Getting started
- Install the app. Open Restocka from Apps in your Shopify admin. The first sync reads your products, stock and the last 60 days of sales; it takes a minute or two.
- Set your suppliers’ delivery times. Restocka creates one supplier for each Vendor on your products. In Suppliers, add each one’s delivery time, minimum order and email once.
- Check your settings. In Settings choose 30 or 60 days of sales, your safety days, how many days of stock you want after a delivery, which locations count as stock and where deliveries are received.
- Create purchase orders. On the reorder list, select the products marked Order now or Order this week and click Create purchase orders. You get one order per supplier; send it by email with the PDF or download the PDF.
- Receive and print labels. When the delivery arrives, open the purchase order and click Receive. Enter what came – all or part – and it’s added to your Shopify stock at the location you choose. Then print the barcode labels.
The reorder list
Reorder shows every planned variant with its stock, daily sales, days left, status and how many to order.
Order now: stock plus what’s already on order would run out before a new delivery could arrive (the supplier’s delivery time plus your safety days). Order this week: it gets there within 7 days. OK: nothing to do.
Select products and click Create purchase orders. You can change any quantity first. To buy a product from another supplier, click Edit next to it.
Export the list as CSV at any time.
How the numbers work
Daily sales = units sold in the last 30 or 60 days (cancelled orders excluded) ÷ days. Stock = available stock at all locations, or at the locations you choose in Settings.
Reorder point = daily sales × (delivery time + safety days).
Order quantity = daily sales × (delivery time + days of stock after delivery + safety days) − stock − already on order, raised to the supplier’s minimum order and rounded up to the pack size.
Left out: archived products, products that don’t track inventory and products tagged do-not-reorder.
Suppliers and delivery times
Restocka creates one supplier for each Vendor on your products, with the default delivery time from Settings.
Open a supplier to set its delivery time, minimum order, email and currency. Per product you can set the supplier’s own SKU, its cost and the pack size it is sold in.
Purchase orders
A purchase order goes Draft → Ordered → Partially received → Received. Drafts and ordered orders can be edited or cancelled.
Send to supplier emails the order with the PDF attached. You can also download the PDF or print it.
Import a purchase order from a CSV with the columns sku (or barcode), quantity and optionally cost. Products are matched by SKU, then barcode. Export your purchase orders as CSV from the list.
Receiving deliveries
Open an ordered purchase order and click Receive. Enter what arrived for each line – all of it or part of it – and choose the location.
The units are added to your Shopify stock at that location. A partial delivery leaves the order “Partially received” until the rest comes; close it if the rest won’t come.
Switch on Update product costs to set each product’s cost to the average of your stock and the delivery.
Barcode labels
Print labels for a delivery from its purchase order, or for any products from Labels.
Each label has a Code 128 barcode from the variant’s barcode (or SKU), with title, variant, SKU and, if you like, the price.
Paper: A4 sheets with 3 × 8 labels, or 57 × 32 mm labels for Dymo, Zebra or Brother printers. On a label printer choose the 57 × 32 mm paper size and no margins in the print dialog.
Settings
Sales period: 30 or 60 days. Safety days: extra buffer on top of the delivery time. Days of stock after delivery: how long an order should last.
Choose which locations count as stock, where deliveries are received by default, the default delivery time for new suppliers, and the label layout.
Moving from Stocky
Install Restocka; suppliers come from your Vendors and sales and stock straight from Shopify, so there is nothing to copy over by hand.
Check each supplier’s delivery time and minimum order. Then import open purchase orders from Stocky as CSV (sku, quantity, cost).
Restocka covers reordering, purchase orders, receiving and labels. Stocktakes and transfers are not part of it.
Plans and billing
Free: up to 50 variants planned. Starter $19/month (1,000 variants, email support), Growth $49/month (10,000, help setting up your suppliers), Pro $99/month (unlimited, priority support).
Every plan has every feature. Paid plans have a 14-day free trial, yearly billing gives 2 months free, and Shopify bills you in USD. No commission and no per-order fees.
Over your plan’s limit, your best sellers (units sold in the last 60 days) get suggestions and the rest are shown as “Not planned”.
Your data
Restocka reads products, inventory, locations and the quantities sold on orders of the last 30 or 60 days. It never reads customer names, emails or addresses.
Removing Restocka
Uninstall Restocka from Apps in your Shopify admin. Your Shopify stock stays as it is; Restocka adds nothing to your theme.
