Locora

A store locator for Shopify: every store, stockist or dealer on a map, with search, Near me, opening hours and directions. No Google key and no map bill.

Getting started

  1. Install the app

Open Locora from Apps in your Shopify admin. It opens on the Dashboard.

  2. Add your locations

In Locations, import a spreadsheet (CSV), import your Shopify locations in one click, or add stores one by one. Every address is placed on the map for you.

  3. Make it yours

In Design pick your colour, map style, list position and texts. The preview shows desktop and phone as you change them.

  4. Link to it

Your locator is live at /apps/stores on your own domain. Add “Find a store” to your main menu or footer, or add the Store locator block to any page.

  5. Check it in your store

Search for a town or postcode, or tap Near me. The nearest stores come first, with distance, opening hours and directions.

Questions

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

No. Locora uses open maps from OpenStreetMap, and address lookups are included. There is no key to set up and no map bill, however many people use your locator.

What does Locora cost?

Free shows up to 25 locations. Starter $9.99 (300), Growth $19.99 (2,500, priority support), Pro $39.99 (25,000, import help). Every plan has every feature, yearly billing gives 2 months free, and paid plans have a 7-day free trial. No fees per view, search or order.

My spreadsheet uses different column names

That’s fine. Locora matches the columns for you (also German names like Straße or PLZ) and lets you change any match before importing. Rows it can’t place on the map are listed so you can fix them.

A pin is in the wrong place

Open the location and drag the pin to the right spot, then save. Locora keeps your position even if you edit the address later.

How do opening hours work?

Add hours per day, or several ranges such as 9–13 and 14–18. Shoppers see a live “Open now · until 18:00” or “Opens tomorrow 10:00” badge. In a CSV, a cell like “Mon-Fri 9-18; Sat 10-14” is understood.

The locator page shows “page not found”

Open it from the Dashboard (Open page) to check the link. If you renamed the app proxy, reinstalling Locora restores /apps/stores. Contact us and we check it for you.

Does Locora store data about shoppers?

No. Searches are counted by place name per day for your insights. No IP addresses, cookies, positions or customer data are stored, and Locora has no access to orders or customers.

Does it work with my theme?

Yes. The locator page runs inside your theme with your header, footer and font, and works on any theme. On phones it switches to List and Map tabs.
