Install the app
Install Lensora: Prescription Lenses from the Shopify App Store and open it from Apps in your Shopify admin. Lensora creates its hidden lens product and checkout pricing by itself.
Turn on Lensora in your theme
On Home click Turn on – the theme editor opens with the Lensora app embed switched on. Click Save. A “Select lenses” button appears on your eyewear product pages.
Set your lenses and prices
Lens steps holds the whole selector: usage, prescription, lens types, tints, thickness, coatings and extras, each with its own price. Sunglasses get their own flow.
Match your store’s look
Design lets you pick the style, window (popup or full screen), colours, cards and fonts – with a live preview of your own product.
Check products and orders
Products switches Lensora on or off per product and lets you outline the lenses on the photo. Orders shows each prescription with a printable lab sheet and CSV export.

Why doesn’t “Select lenses” show?
Open Lensora → Home and click Turn on – the theme editor opens with Lensora switched on. Click Save. Lensora shows on eyewear products; check the product is switched on under Products.
The lens colour is in the wrong place
Lensora finds the lenses on a straight front photo. For rimless frames or unusual photos, open Products → Lens area and drag the points onto the lens edges.
How is the lens price charged?
Lensora adds a hidden “Prescription lenses” product and prices it at checkout through Shopify. Shoppers see one cart line with frame and lenses; the price can’t be changed in the browser.
Where is the prescription?
In Lensora → Orders: open an order to see the prescription table, PD, prism and notes, or print the lab sheet. It is also saved on the order in Shopify.
Which languages does the selector speak?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Japanese and Korean. The selector follows your store’s language, and Settings → Texts lets you change any wording.
How do plans and the commission work?
Every plan includes all features. Pay as you go has no monthly fee; Starter, Growth and Pro have a monthly or yearly fee and a lower commission. The commission applies only to orders with Lensora lenses – frame and lenses, after discounts, without shipping and tax. Cancelled and refunded orders aren’t charged.
What happens if I uninstall?
Shopify removes the lens pricing and the selector from your theme. The hidden “Prescription lenses” product stays because past orders use it – you can delete it in Products.
