Getting started
Add the theme
In Shopify go to Online Store → Themes → Add theme. Upload the theme file or add it from the Theme Store, then click Customize.
Pick a style
In Theme settings choose Loupe (eyewear), Atelier (jewellery), Maison (fashion) or Botanica (beauty). Colours, fonts and buttons change together.
Add your photos
Open the homepage sections and pick images for the hero, tiles and journal. Wide photos work best in the hero.
Set up your menu
Go to Content → Menus. The header uses your main menu; each top item can open a mega menu with up to five promo images.
Add filters
Install Shopify’s free Search & Discovery app and add filters such as colour, price and material. Loupe shows them with colour swatches.
Questions
How do colour swatches and colour switching work?
Give each colour variant its own variant photo. Loupe groups the product photos by those variant images and switches them instantly when a shopper picks a colour.
Can I show size or material details?
Yes. The Specification sheet section reads values from product metafields (dynamic sources), so every product shows its own details. Empty rows hide automatically.
Does Loupe need any apps?
No. Everything works without apps. App blocks are supported on product pages, the featured product, the footer and more if you add apps later.
Which languages are included?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. Add more with Shopify Translate & Adapt.
How do I switch between the four styles?
Online Store → Themes → Customize → Theme settings → Style. Your sections stay; colours, fonts and shapes change.
How do I update the theme?
Shopify shows theme updates in Online Store → Themes. Your settings and content carry over to the new version.
